Design Meltdown is an interesting site resource for searching for sites by color, graphic elements and techniques (ie. atypical navigations). For the amount of trumpeting the owner does on good design tactics, the site itself isn’t designed well, nor is it user friendly. That said, it still offers a pretty interesting repository for site screenshots that may be helpful when researching or digging for creative ideas.

These videos are hilarious. I love the sound effects for the meows and how natural the cat moves. Any cat owner will realize the subtle idiosyncrasies of the cat and has to appreciate the thought that went into its movement alone.

Last year, era//404 designed three labels for the inaugural launch of Brooklyn Wine Co.’s new brand for Feliz Red, Feliz White and Grand Army Meritage. My original blog posting about the design strategy for these labels can be found here.

Anyway, OSFA, of Newstoday, just alerted me to the fact that our labels were featured in the April 2008 HOW International Design Annual (thanks, man!) with the below story included.
