Mike and I finally got around to putting our pictures together from our trip to Vienna, Budapest and Prague (Bohemia). The trip was for our 30th birthdays and, sadly, I guess I’m not as sprightly as I was in my salad days. Sorry this is so after-the-fact, I know a bunch of you were interested in seeing them. Have a gander and let me know what you think! (Links to previous trips are on the bottom of the page).
The TripAdvisor “Cities I’ve Visited” Application for Facebook is a pretty interesting widget to share your travel experience with friends on the popular social networking site. It’s free and takes only a moment to set-up. After you’re done, you can notify friends of recommendations, see which friends have traveled to the same places, post yourself as a trip advisor for specific destinations, note that you will be traveling to a certain area and request recommendations from friends and strangers that have traveled there previously.
I’m sure everyone has seen this already, but that’s not going to stop me from reposting it.
For any fans of Natalie Portman, including her exquisite role as the flirtatious brainiac, Marty, in Beautiful Girls (1996), you’ll enjoy this profane, but hilarious SNL skit (presumably written by Andy Samberg—the genius behind Lazy Sunday).
Take a look at the paintings and sketchbook of Vincent Hui over at hardsponge.com. Some amazingly impressive work.
