Jesus was a community organizer.

small.gifA fun response to VP Candidate Sarah Palin‘s (and Rudy Guiliani’s) claim that community organizers aren’t valuable parts of modern society. While this is a type-heavy design, the clean execution of an archaic font and subtle laurels as parenthesis create a utilitarian, but impactful design. Either way, I want your moms to wear it at their next PTA meetings.

The t-shirt concept was nixxed on Threadless, but I thought you might still like to see it.

One of our favorite clients, with whom we were featured in HOW Magazine’s “Behind the Design: Brooklyn Style” section, asked me for a quick illustration of his storefront in Brooklyn to help enhance the old-time-y appeal of his new campaign. Below and attached is the illustration.

Ahh, FiOS is coming.

About once a month Optimum goes down. Naturally, since we’re in the middle of our clients’ (Lyrek CEMS) busiest seasons, they’ve decided to perform maintenance this week. And, regardless of their claims, when they take the network down, it stays down for a good 4-8hrs.

Well, get a load of this voice recording from Optimum/Cablevision’s helpdesk. This company still thinks it’s okay to not only provide unreliable service, but to take down all of New Jersey each month. Thank God FiOS is coming…
