this may be a late comment, but i totally disagree about harry potter. #5 was my favorite book by a landslide, because it brought the fun harry-potterness that all the other books had and added an adult intrigue (politics vs media vs truth) that made it really intriguing. i was actually disppointed in 6 because it wasn’t as much like 5. either way, i wait with bated breath for #7…
