uploader.jpg

Due to old code in the the index.php file, the details checkbox wasn’t displaying file information and thumbnails for file lists in custom directories. This has been fixed and re-uploaded in a new .rar file of this project. The link is the same as the last one.

Comments and feedback always welcome. Thanks again, Mike, for the assistance and to [d]online commenter, TimD, for pointing this to my attention.

Radiohead’s House of Cards video

In Radiohead’s new video for “House of Cards”, no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.

Go to: http://code.google.com/radiohead to find additional pieces of data to create your own visualizations.

Airtight TiltViewer

Take a look at the Tiltviewer featured on Airtight‘s site. This is the guy that’s responsible for the new MySpace video player, completely rebuilt in AS3. The TiltViewer is quite similar to the components available at AFComponents, built (I believe) in PaperVision, but feels smoother and more natural. This isn’t to say that AFComponents‘3D Carousel and Stack Components aren’t just as awe-inspiring—keep in mind this is coming from your lowly blogger that only knows AS2—but it just seemed to be a nice, clean and fluid component.
