Uh oh, the princess is in another castle
This is pure genius. On 23rd St and 11th Avenue, a variation of space invaders: Mario, of Super Mario Bros, was porcelain tiled below stand pipes that look uncannily like those in the original game.

The Future of New York
As imagined by an unknown artist (c. 1910), the future of New York is filled with low-flying bi- and tri-planes and train trestles that run through skyscrapers. The above postcard is part of the Walker Evans collection of 10,000 currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art here in NYC. I recommend visiting by tri-plane as the elevated trestle is normally congested.

Money Hats
I found this creative little montage on iBored.com. I love that not only are the hats made from the currency, they’re also indicative of their cultures. This would work wonderfully for a number of ad campaigns and editorial pieces. Does anyone know the source/artist?
