Simple, creative and brilliant.
We’re excited to be working with Pantone again to develop a more robust version of our Moods Facebook Application. The announcement went live on Facebook on Friday and I’d love any feedback you can provide while we’re working on developing it. Your ideas can help mold this and future versions of the application.
My design studio, ERA404 Creative Group, was pleased to launch our 2011 Creative Reel this week. Information about the reel can be found in the supplementary ERA404 newsletter (Season X, Issue II), the Press Release (ERA404: Commemorating10 Years) as well as the [d]online blog post about the rebranding effort.
In light of my design studio’s new branding initiative, and based on some positive feedback about the lettering, I decided to expand the logo into a whole typeface. The font, which contains 256 glyphs and ligatures, is called era404 Regular and can be downloaded from MyFonts.com (along with my previous font, [d]online). Please only use it for personal use. Contact me (or post a comment) if you’re interested in commercial licensing of either typeface. And as always, I’d love your feedback.
I’m a sucker for creative packaging design. I think that’s the reason my mom sends these forwards to me. There is so much creativity when it comes to these that I’m simultaneously envious that I didn’t think of them and reverential for the designers who did. But maybe that’s how we’re supposed to feel. If, one day, my company is hired by a client to do packaging design, I’m excited to see what sort of creative ideas we can design together.
