The Future of New York
As imagined by an unknown artist (c. 1910), the future of New York is filled with low-flying bi- and tri-planes and train trestles that run through skyscrapers. The above postcard is part of the Walker Evans collection of 10,000 currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art here in NYC. I recommend visiting by tri-plane as the elevated trestle is normally congested.
Doesn’t this sorta remind you of GM’s Futurama from the 1939 World’s Fair?
Money Hats
I found this creative little montage on iBored.com. I love that not only are the hats made from the currency, they’re also indicative of their cultures. This would work wonderfully for a number of ad campaigns and editorial pieces. Does anyone know the source/artist?

Like these pieces? Me too. What’s even more impressive is that they were created by a 7-year-old, Kieron Williamson, have a 700 person waiting list to buy and START at $1,500.00 (£900). Hate him yet? Yeah, me too.

Ramona Falls – I Say Fever
This is hands-down the coolest video I’ve seen in a long, long time. The last video I remember liking was the one for “Bedshaped” by Keane. Watch it and love it as I do.
