In light of Jacob Cass’s wonderful article on “Why logo design does not cost $5.00” and the viral video on “The Vendor-Client Relationship – in Real-world Situations”, Fischstix forwarded me this lovely exchange between Australian author and freelance designer and a former Ogilvy business developer turned entrepreneur. The only reason I laugh is because I’ve been in this situation all too often and laughing hides the anger.

ERA404 recently had the privilege at working with the branding gurus at CO-OP Branding to develop the site for DKLB BKLN, a new luxury Brooklyn property. The site features specifications about the units and amenities, an urban exploration of Fort Greene and a host of pictures, renderings and data about the property and surrounding area.
Illustrated Horror Film Posters
Well Medicated has a great list of 100 Illustrated Horror Film posters, many of which were quite frightening memories form my childhood. It’s fascinating to see the influence of fine art on film promotion and some lasting images and metaphors (see Road Games) that still hold strong today.
